OK, can you open your eyes wide, put your hands on your cheeks, and say,”Oh no, only two more weeks until Christmas!” That’s right, only two weeks from tomorrow is Christmas, and I’m not quite ready. Now you only have one more week to order Scrip. We aren’t going to order the week of Christmas and we aren’t ordering any extra for the In-Stock box next week, so if you really want something as gift, I’d urge you to order it. 

Did you know that you can buy gift cards with your Scrip purchased thru EHCA? Example: Say the $25 Family Christian card is more than you really wanted to spend, but if you could get them in say $10 or $5 increments, you’d buy them as gifts. Well most places let you bring in your Scrip cards and get cards in the increments you want. I know I talked to Eat N Park about this when they discontinued selling $5 cards thru GLSC. I’d double check though with the retailer before doing this. I wouldn’t want you to buy from us and then get stuck.

RETAILER NEWS: You can no longer order the 2007 Christmas Gift Wrappers. Like last year they were a big hit. Now we may have a few available for purchase through In-Stock for 2/$1. Steve & Barry’s are offering a 2% bonus 12/1 – 12/28 and their rate will be 8% during this time. I didn’t know Kay Jewelers was one of the retailers available thru GLSC, but a note came through this week saying they are now offering $50 cards (they use to be $25 but these are being discontinued) at 12% and you can use these cards to pay on your Kay Jewelers account. Just thought I’d mention this in case anyone was going to go purchase something really nice there or if you already have and need to pay on your account. 

GLSC offers many retailers that we don’t list. If you are curious what’s available, visit their website at www.glscrip.com and look under Retailer List and if you scroll down a bit on the left hand side you’ll see where you can print the list off for yourself…it’s only 4 pages long. You can choose 4 different ways of it being listed.

I don’t know if you all realize that not all our retailers on our list are through GLSC. There are several local retailers that we work with personally. Now we have to pick those certificates up ourselves when we order them. Last week we ordered Vocelli’s and I wasn’t able to get there until yesterday to pick them up. With the price of gas I watch every trip I make, and since I had no other reason to go to Sarver, they just didn’t get picked up. Sorry, but my paycheck from Scrip just isn’t big enough to cover my traveling expenses! ? I spend most of my gas money going back & forth to the school.
